Hello! I was a student of Mrs. Yale during the mid 70's. I was quite a young child during that time, but I do remember that she was an awesome teacher! She genuinely cared about her students' well being other than just being a music teacher. She will be deeply missed!

Very nicely done! Hopefully additional information can be added to this website as a "Tribute" to The Great Oakley W. Yale Sr. (my teacher & father-in-law) and his lovely wife Melba J. Yale, for all the years that they had devoted and put their hearts and soul into their music school, students and especially the "Yale Accordion Symphony", which later become the "Yale Accordion Ensemble". We miss them both! I say from the bottom of my heart, it was a previledge and honor being their student and mostly of all their daughter-in-law... (I. Yale)

I am so happy to have found this website. I am Sandra Navarro a former teacher of Mrs. Yale on the accordion and Mr. Oakley Yale, Jr on the piano. I was also a part of the orchestra. My sister Teresa Navarro was the concertmistress of the orchestra. I am so excited. I will be spreading the news.
